When did I turn into the worst blogger ever? This is sad.
Well, what did you all think of conference? We absolutely loved it. We had an awesome conference weekend. Kevin worked very hard to Jerry-rig our TV so that we get get conference at home (we haven't had TV since we got married), and it was awesome to hang out in our pajamas and cuddle on the couch while we listened. We decided that we wanted to indulge ourselves in some good food as well as the spiritual feast we were experiencing, and oh boy did we have some good food. Example, these pumpkin waffles with a homemade caramel syrup.

How amazing do these look? They were indeed, amazing.

We spent most of Saturday afternoon hanging out with Kevin's brother and his wife and cute little boy. We ate some amazing soup and salad (unpictured), and some better than you-know-what cake (also unpictured). We love spending time with them, they are so much fun. We will miss them when they move to Oklahoma in a couple of months! They are about to have another baby boy coming in May and I made a cute little baby hat for him.

We spent a wonderful afternoon with them, enjoying the second session and spending some time outside. They fed us a yummy dinner and I hung out with my sister-in-law while the boys went to Priesthood. Kevin had left his church clothes at home, so he borrowed some of his brother's.

Sunday was a beautiful day and we absolutely loved the talks given. After the first session we hustled over to Grandma's and had a delicious lunch and enjoyed spending some time outside and with family.

Oh spring, you beautiful, beautiful thing.

Did you notice how much the family was emphasized this conference? We absolutely loved all of the messages about family. We took careful note of what was being said and set some goals for our little family. We are so happy to be starting our own little family and are eager to apply the principles that we learned from the Lord's servants.

We have a cute little family don't we? We are so excited to someday start expanding and growing!

Thank goodness for conference, and thank goodness that there is only one more week left of classes! Hooray for the impending summer!
