This past weekend Kevin and I ditched this town and headed to Moab. We had a lot of fun and learned a lot about each other in ways we hadn't yet discovered (I think it's safe to say that I will be the one who drives the canyons from now on).
My mom and some aunts and uncles were there for the Red Rock Relay so we spent a little bit of time with them (thanks again for all the dinners mom!) and then Saturday we spent the whole day just the two of us in Arches National Park. We seriously had a blast. We hiked delicate arch, had a picnic, explored the devil's gate area and drove to all the scenic outlooks. We hiked a total of 14 miles which was insanity since we haven't hiked at all since last summer. Let's just say, we reached a point were we didn't even get out of the car to take pictures because our feet were in agonizing pain. But it was absolutely worth it! We already can't wait til our next trip together!
