I can’t decide if Kevin and I are similar to parents with newborns or to an elderly couple. Either way, we have to leave social functions super early on Friday nights to make our 8:00 bedtime. This became a problem when our Stake Valentines Dance started at 7:30. But the real problem was that we thought it started at 6:30. After a half hour of wandering the halls, expressing irritation that the dance wasn’t even set up yet, we realized that we were an hour early. It’s fine.
The good news is that we got all a little bit gussied up and went dancing last night and it was great. Even though we left after less than an hour of dancing.
The other good news is that we are getting really good at taking pictures with our self-timer.
The good news for you is that I chose only 5 out of the 90 pictures that we took before leaving for the dance. We are disasters, and we like it that way. :)

I'd say you're more like an elderly couple than a couple with a newborn. An elderly couple would be able to g out without worrying that the extra time spent at the dance was an extra $8 for the babysitters. :)
However, at last year's dance, I vaguely remember Chris and I going with Ariana. Looking back, I'm sure we looked pretty silly with a baby in tow, but you gotta do what you gotta do to get out of the house sometimes.
