Life has been happening

I can’t believe it’s only been two weeks since I graduated from BYU! Life is so so different now than it was just two short weeks ago. Here are some updates on what we’ve been doing with ourselves lately.

My post-graduation dinner was at Gloria’s Little Italy, where the food is delicious and picturesque.

We’ve had the chance to spend lots of time with my hooligans siblings lately which is always a riot.

We took some senior pictures for my stud-muffin of a brother. Dang! I have a good looking family!Jeffrey’s photoshoot led to some impromptu pictures, some of which included lilac crowns (which, despite what Janna says, are hard to make!)

We’ve spent some time playing games by ourselves and with friends.

I started a new job, which I struggled with at first, but now really like. On my third day we took a van ride up to Sundance with the residents. It was way pretty!

We got to babysit (and corrupt) one of our favorite little neighbors, and have enjoyed evening walks whenever it isn’t raining.

I took a road trip with Janna and my parents down to St. George to celebrate Cammie’s graduation from Dixie. It was so great to have more family time!

Last week, Kevin and I went for a gorgeous hike up Slate Canyon. Unfortunately our hike was cut short because of a naked man on the trail! We didn’t actually see him, but turned around when a considerate hiker warned us that we were about to walk up on him.

Summer is here in full force, even if the weather this week has seemed otherwise. We are really enjoying our little life right now! I’m working about 30 hours a week doing fun activities with the elderly, and Kevin is taking a full load of classes and juggling two jobs. We are working hard to have as much fun as we can though, and we are so excited to see what this summer has to offer!
