A few hours after Kevin graduated we had our big 20 week ultrasound. The ultrasound was honestly amazing. It was so comforting to learn that our baby is healthy, everything looks normal, and he’s the perfect size (actually a little big for his age)! And the biggest news was finding out that he is a HE!
I’m not going to lie, I was a tiny bit in shock when the technician said, “that’s a little boy part.” because I was honestly convinced that we were having a girl! Once the shock wore off (and I hit up Baby Gap), I became incredibly excited. It hit me hard that I’m going to have a SON and I just cried in gratitude.
Even though for several months I thought we were having a girl, it now feels so perfect that this baby is a boy. And in the past two weeks since we learned his gender, I’ve fallen in love with him so much. I can’t wait to meet him and hold him in my arms. And I’m so so grateful to have two amazing boys in my life.
