Well, the weather in our neck of the woods has been insane. Snow, snow and more snow. Last night the icicles were absolutely crazy, so naturally Kevin wanted to knock them all down.
I wish that we had more time to play with our new camera! Last night I chose the most inconvenient time (like five minutes before we needed to get out the door) to experiment with a cool technique for taking pictures of the Christmas tree called Bokeh. I found the tutorial here.
Kevin willingly became my subject as I manipulated the camera for twenty minutes. I still haven't quite gotten the hang of making the pictures look good when there is a subject, but I think the pictures at the bottom with the blurry Christmas tree look awesome. Bokeh, people. Check it out.
The best news of the day is that I just turned in one of my biggest papers, and finished the other one, ready to turn in tomorrow! Thursday is the last day of classes, and then we hit finals week! Pray for us, please!
