Today's recipe is a very simple one. Homemade salsa! Back in August I went to St. George with my mom, aunts, sister and cousin for a girls trip. It was a blast! On the first night, my aunt made this incredible salsa. I could not stop eating it. I wanted it for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
On Sunday we had some friends over for games, and I made them this incredible salsa. Our friend Dan was practically licking the bowl! It made me feel so good. So I thought I would share this SUPER simple recipe with you.
Amazing Salsa:
1 28 oz can tomatoes
2 cans green chiles
1/2 ish cup fresh cilantro
2-3 cloves garlic
Blend well, add salt to taste.
Lately, we've also been adding just the littlest bit of jalepeno to give it some kick. And trust me when I say you need a little bit. One time when I made this salsa, I only had one can of green chiles, but I had a can of jalepenos so I added that too. Let's just say, it was BAD! But now we put in 2-3 little pieces of jalepeno and it's absolutely perfect. It just depends on how spicy you like your salsa!
